I closed the book on the last page and gasped! I was in shock, on edge and itching for more NOW!
This is such a wild ride. I loved every moment of it and was I'm dying for my next 'fix'.
This book had so much emotion in it. I felt on edge the whole time; like Mac. I was so frustrated FOR her. Who's on which side? Who should she trust? I felt just as confused and powerless as she. Wishing, willing for her to have a way out, a way to not have to depend on people she can't trust.
It was a roller coaster. Just when you think you got the battle lines drawn and figured things out... you get thrown for a loop and are left spinning right along with Mac.
This is a wild dark journey and this latest book has me counting the days til Dream Fever.

This is the third in the fever series and the story of Mac just keeps getting better. She is a normal southern girl who is way over her head in paranormal experiances that she never knew she would be involved in. She finally thinks she has the hang of her powers but is she ever wrong. Everyone seems to need or want her special help. I really enjoyed that the MacKeltars from the Highlander series have gotten involved in the plot. I couldnt put this book down and I read it over a weekend. The triangle between Mac, Barrons and V'lane really gets interesting. Plus I wondered if anything will happen with Christian. Is she ever going to be able to just trust someone completely? The twist at the end was way unexpected and really makes you want to continue to see where the story will go from there. I can't wait for the next one!!!

First there was Dark Fever, then Blood Fever, now there is Fae Fever and I
can barely wait until Dream Fever hits the shelves. If ever there was a
character I could relate to for being lost between two extremes it is Mac. Poor girl doesn't know who to trust, welcome to the world. This is a quick
read, mainly because it is hard to put down, but it is not quite as good as the first two books. Mac, you can tell is definitely in over her head and you get the impression she is getting just a little too confident, despite her inner fears that she is inadequate for the job. There are definite twists and turns to the story and the jealousy that pops up between her two advisers are quite amusing because you are not quite sure if it is because of her or her power. The ending does catch you off guard, it is not near what you expect and leaves you looking for the next twist in the story. Surely it can't have Mac heading the way it looks. So now what?
