This christmas special is probably one of the best for really young kids. Its short and sweet, about teddy bears that don't want their kids to wake up on christmas morning and have no christmas, so they set off on an adventure where they meet new friends, and try to find a christmas tree. It has a magical quality that lots of kids will love (the teddy bears coming to life) and also alot of kids can relate to (will Santa be able to find us, what if there are real bears outside). Some parents might not want to watch this over and over, as some of the voices can get kind of annoying. I hope f.h.e. will release this on DVD, maybe a double feature with Nick and Noel.
 A beautiful and magical Christmas Surprise! January 4, 2001
My kids, ages 5 and 2, love this video. It is short enough to keep their attention (under a half and hour) and kids really love this kind of story where toys come to life, go on an adventure, and save christmas. It is about a brother and sister who get stuck is a snow storm with their family in an abandonned cabin the night before christmas. They go to bed wondering if Santa will know where to find them. So their stuffed bears, Christopher and Holly magically come to life and go on an adventure to find a christmas tree and decorate the cabin just in time for the kids to wake up to a beautiful christmas morning. Very touching...Another good video like this one is Nick & Noel.
A nice, entertaining video for preschoolers & kindergartners October 24, 2000
My daughter, Kelly, who is 3 1/2, fell in love with this video from the rental store. We rented it twice and she was so upset about returning it the second time that we decided to purchase it. It is a nice, sweet, magical story about Christmas. It is the perfect length, about 30 minutes or so, and sends a good message about faith and hope.
